107ist to Donate $50,000 to Operation Pitch Invasion to be Used Towards Bless Field

The 107 Independent Supporters Trust is pleased to announce a donation of $50,000 to Operation Pitch Invasion on behalf of the Timbers Army towards the completion of Bless Field. Bless Field will be a youth-sized all-season soccer pitch for the children who live in Portland’s New Columbia Housing Project. A check presentation from Tyler Segel of Factory North, a Timbers Army member and organizer of Art Takeover, will occur on March 16th before kickoff between the Portland Timbers and Chicago Fire. This can be whomever you feel is the best player, best in the community, or you feel who wears the badge with the most humbleness and respect. There is no criteria other than what you feel is best. Portland, OR, Vancouver, B.C., Seattle, WA — Ahead of this weekends Cascadia Cup match between the Sounders and the Whitecaps, the supporters groups in Seattle, Portland and Vancouver and Major League Soccer are pleased to announce we have reached an agreement in principle regarding the Cascadia Cup Trademark Issue. 107ist (TIMBERS ARMY) 2013 PRESENTATION TO PORTLAND CITY COUNCIL

On Wednesday, March 13 Portland City Commissioner Dan Saltzman will host the Timbers Army fan group at Portland City Council’s regularly scheduled meeting. The Timbers Army of the Portland Timbers Major League Soccer team, incorporated as the 107ist Independent Supporters’ Trust, is the most rabid and community involved fan club in Major League Soccer. In 2012 the 107ist and its members donated over $62,000 dollars and over 5,000 volunteer hours to charities and community activities throughout the region. Continue reading »
