SUMMARY:Timbers Army Volunteer Day at Oregon Food Bank
DESCRIPTION:The Timbers Army is having another group volunteer day at Oregon Food Bank on Saturday\, August 27th\, from 9 to 11am. We will be repackaging and sorting bulk non-perishable food items\, fresh produce\, frozen foods or other projects.    We are bringing groups to both OFB locations\, this time (7900 NE 33rd Dr in Portland; and 1870 NW 173rd Ave in Beaverton); so for anyone on the west side of town who couldn't make it last time because of travel distance: you're in luck! (NOTE: The Portland group is full\, and there are about a dozen spots left in the Beaverton group. If you don't make it on the roster for this shift\, we'll be doing these about every three months\, so there will be plenty of opportunity.)    If you're interested in signing up\, please email Lucas.Grzybowski@107ist.org. Send your name and email address\, and an emergency contact's name and phone number; and if you're bringing any U18s\, please let us know as we'll need  you to fill out the youth release form also. Please also let us know at which location you'd like to volunteer.     Due to the rising need in our community\, The Oregon Food Bank is actively encouraging  volunteers to donate food & funds when they visit - please bring something to donate if you can.        Further details\, including driving directions and safety guidelines\, will be posted here and sent to volunteers via email.
