Operation Pitch Invasion is gonna do its magical thing this Saturday, August 25, at Clinton Park on SE Woodward & 55th. As of this writing, we’re a bit short of volunteers, so if you can spare a few hours in the morning, you’d be doing yourself, your town, your game, and your fellow TA a grand service by coming out and helping us. Work will begin at 8:30 — we’re filling in potholes, re-seeding bare spots, restoring the goalmouths, fixing sprinkler heads and painting goal hardware. We should be out of there by noon or so.
Because it is a Cascadia Cup match day, 107ist will make wristbands available for folks who might otherwise want to spend the morning on line at JWF.
